The Power of Culture (Part 2)

Health is number one; everything else comes second. Without health, nothing is truly possible. We believe in building a healthy body and mind, enabling our employees to thrive both at work and in life within a healthy corporate environment. Driven by this wellness philosophy, the company has been providing annual health check-ups for all staff members since 2004. Additionally, we organize a wide range of engaging activities every day, ensuring that while we prioritize physical well-being, we also pay close attention to employees' mental health. From time to time, we host themed discussion sessions in various formats. Ultimately, we’re putting our cherished principles into action through concrete efforts.

In addition to this, we also need a healthy, first-class environment. In recent years, the company has been committed to building and upgrading its physical facilities, significantly improving office and production environments as well as working conditions—while simultaneously placing great emphasis on fostering a positive humanistic atmosphere and enhancing employee qualities. With the ongoing implementation of 6S management practices, employees' overall competence has markedly improved. We encourage approaching challenges with a constructive mindset, promoting a spirit of unity and collaboration, and discouraging individual heroism, as it ultimately fosters the collective wisdom and vitality of the team.

If we compare a company to a mighty ship sailing through rough waters, then safety is the sail—essential for the company’s healthy and sustainable growth. That’s why our company has established a robust safety management system and successfully achieved the third-level certification for corporate safety standards. Specifically:

Safety Policy: Safety First, Prevention is Key, Full Staff Participation, Continuous Improvement.

Safety Objectives:

1. Prevent major safety incidents from occurring, achieving "zero" occurrences of five types of serious accidents: severe injuries, workplace fatalities, major fires, major traffic accidents, and significant equipment failures—and keeping the injury rate among 100 employees below 2%.

2. Level 3 safety education rate: 100%

3. 100% Rectification Rate for Safety Hazards

4. Zero occupational disease hazard incidents

DDC's history records two festivals:

March 12: DDC's Birthday

November 11: DDC Safety Day.

The company prioritizes personal safety above all else, once again demonstrating its people-first philosophy. By safeguarding safety to ensure efficiency, and fostering safety through sustained efficiency, the company has consistently maintained steady operations while continuing to grow in a healthy, sustainable manner.

For the first time, the 17th Party Congress report identified environmental resources as the primary issue at hand, dedicating extensive coverage to emphasizing environmental protection. It also marked the first instance of incorporating ecological civilization into the report. Environmental protection is not only crucial for ensuring businesses' normal production and employees' personal safety—it directly impacts a company's survival, growth, and the stability of social order as well. That’s why the company places great importance on environmental sustainability, continuously investing human, material, and financial resources into eco-friendly initiatives. This commitment reflects the company’s moral conscience and its sense of responsibility.

When running a business, the first priority is to be a person of integrity—after all, "a person without trustworthiness cannot stand." Companies must uphold honesty in their external operations, and equally so in their internal dealings with employees, because, in fact, everyone around us—from every angle—is our customer.

Integrity is the foundation of being a person and the cornerstone of corporate growth. No matter what stage a company reaches, integrity remains DDC’s treasured heritage—a virtue deeply rooted in the Da Di ethos—and a spirit that must never be abandoned.

In today's rapidly evolving economy, only through continuous innovation can we meet the complex and ever-changing demands of the market and keep pace with the times. That’s why the company places great emphasis on fostering employees' enthusiasm and creativity. In fact, innovation is seamlessly integrated into our daily work—this innovative culture consistently drives advancements in management practices, marketing strategies, and technological breakthroughs, particularly shining in the realm of technological innovation, where remarkable achievements have been made.

In the future, we will continue to advance cultural development:

Speed: With the rapid advancement of information and networking technologies, speed has become a critical tool for businesses to gain a competitive edge. Whoever seizes the initiative first will unlock greater opportunities—and thus, fostering a corporate culture that values speed and prioritizes efficiency is now more urgent than ever.

Learning: In today’s society, knowledge is rapidly evolving and expanding at an explosive pace. Only by cultivating a holistic learning capability—shifting from "I’m made to learn" to "I want to learn"—can businesses gain the upper hand in competition and achieve sustainable growth.

Image: A strong corporate image naturally fosters greater brand recognition and positive public perception in the coming year. Internally, it strengthens organizational cohesion, while externally, it helps optimize the business environment. Therefore, enhancing education in image culture is crucial to establishing the Dadi brand and building a century-old enterprise.

DDC's corporate culture is the very essence of DDC's two-decade-long development. Rooted in DDC itself, it will inevitably evolve and innovate through传承 (tradition), ultimately becoming a powerful driving force behind the company's continuous growth—propelling DDC toward greater strength and success.
