Abstract: This test aimed to study the application of compound acidifier developed by our company on weaned piglets. A 3-treatment single-factor design was used in this test. 36 weaned piglets with similar weight and 30 days of age were selected, and the experiment lasted for 30 days. The basal diet of each test group was the same, A was the control group, B and C were the Dadi acidifier group and the antibiotic group with regular addition respectively, and the adding amount was 0.3%. The results showed that adding acidifier in piglet diet could significantly improve the production performance of piglets (P<0.05), and the daily feed intake of the Dadi acidifier group and the antibiotic group with regular addition increased by 16% and 4% respectively, compared with that of control group, and the Dadi acidifier group was much higher than the antibiotic group with regular addition. The daily weight gain increased by 32% and 13% compared with the control group, respectively, and the daily gain of Dadi acidifier group was higher than the antibiotic group with regular addition. The feed-gain ratio decreased by 12% and 8% compared with the control group, respectively, and the feed-gain ratio in the Dadi acidifier group was lower than the antibiotic group with regular addition. Adding acidifier in diet of piglets can significantly reduce the acidity of gastrointestinal tract of piglets (P<0.05). The pH value of the Dadi acidifier group and the antibiotic group with regular addition decreased by 12% and 8% respectively compared with the control group, and the pH value of Dadi acidifier group was lower than the antibiotic group with regular addition. Compared with the control group, the pH value of intestinal contents decreased by 7% and 5%, respectively, and that of Dadi acidifier group was lower than the antibiotic group with regular addition. Compared with the control group, pepsin activity in group B and C increased by 91% and 35% respectively, and trypsin activity in jejunum increased by 62% and 31% respectively, and that in ileum increased by 16% and 8% respectively.
