From November 13 to 16, 2018, the EuroTier international livestock exhibition, hosted by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), was held as scheduled in Hanover, Germany. On October 29, the "Shennong Academic and Cultural Festival—'Dadi Hank' Inspirational Speech Competition," jointly hosted by Dadi Hank and the Graduate School of Jilin Agricultural University, was held at the Comprehensive Building of Jilin Agricultural University. Six contestants from the Academy of Agricultural Sciences passionately competed, using their voices to showcase the powerful spirit of Jilin Agricultural University. The 5th Grand Emperor Hank Chuan Nong Alumni Reunion Was Held in Tianjin

On October 18, coinciding with the 8th National Symposium on Feed Nutrition, the 5th Dadi Hank Chuan Nong Alumni Reunion was successfully held at the Tianjin Shehui Shan International Conference Center Hotel. Professors Yu Bing, Director of the Institute of Animal Nutrition at Sichuan Agricultural University; Researcher He Jun, Deputy Director; Professors Zhang Keying and Zhou Xiaoqiu, along with student representatives and over 60 Chuan Nong alumni, gathered to reconnect and reminisce about their school days. Dr. Lei Yan, R&D Director of DDC, and Dr. Wang Renjie, Marketing Manager, attended the reunion as representatives of DDC’s Chuan Nong alumni network.

From September 17 to 19, the three-day event 2018 VIVChina was held at the Nanjing International Expo Center. On September 17, at the official forum of 2018 VIV China—the International Feed Technology Forum—Dr. Yan Lei, DDC’s Director of R&D, was invited to chair the special session titled "Ensuring Feed Safety Through Technology and a Robust Assurance System," and delivered a keynote speech on "New Applications in the Mechanisms of Animal Feed Intake Regulation." Dr. Lei emphasized that whether a diet can effectively meet an animal’s nutritional needs hinges on three key factors: appropriate feed intake levels, a well-balanced formulation, and optimal digestion and absorption rates. Among these, adequate feed intake serves as the foundation. However, with advancements in genetic breeding technologies, animals are increasingly showing a declining trend in their maximum feed consumption, leading to a growing mismatch between their feeding capacity and actual nutritional requirements. The level of feed intake, therefore, directly impacts an animal’s ability to meet its dietary needs.

DDC holds safety production training and hands-on practice drills.
To enhance employees' safety awareness, help them learn and master safe production skills, proactively prevent safety accidents, and ensure the protection of lives and property, DDC organized a training session on "The Primary Responsibility of Enterprises for Safe Production" for all staff members on September 11. During the training, Wang Tao from the Safety and Environmental Protection Department delivered instruction focusing on two key areas: relevant laws and regulations related to enterprise safety production, as well as how companies can effectively fulfill their primary responsibility for safe operations. After the session, all participants took part in a safety training exam. To further reinforce the training outcomes and improve employees' ability to correctly and proficiently use fire extinguishers, the Safety and Environmental Protection Department arranged a fire-extinguishing exercise for production line staff on the afternoon of September 12.

They revisited their alma mater—returning to the place where they once studied—and paid heartfelt visits to their beloved mentors, expressing gratitude for their guidance and wisdom. The group also toured the Innovation Science and Technology Building of the College of Animal Science, engaging in insightful discussions with the college’s leading experts. Dr. Yu Lin was invited to share his entrepreneurial insights with students from the College of Animal Science, delivering a talk titled "My Thoughts on Entrepreneurship." "Over the past 26 years, DDC has remained steadfastly focused on animal feed regulation.
