DDC Supports the Opening of Benyuan Forum 2024—Feed Nutrition Innovation Conference in Chengdu

Currently, China's livestock industry is facing a series of significant challenges: overcapacity, weak consumer demand, and sluggish market conditions. On top of this, major feed原料 prices have experienced substantial volatility, posing considerable difficulties and uncertainties for businesses across the entire industry chain—both upstream and downstream. In the face of these challenges, how can feed companies strike a balance between reducing costs and maintaining product quality? How can they leverage innovation to build new forms of productive capacity? And most importantly, how can they create value for customers while contributing to the high-quality development of the livestock industry?
To align with industry trends, DDC joined hands with the Feed Industry Information Network as they jointly kicked off the exciting 2024 Benyuan Forum—Feed Nutrition Innovation Conference & the "Good Feed • Season 12" Awards Ceremony—in Chengdu on October 23. This year's two-day conference is themed "Strengthen the Foundation, Cultivate Vitality, Enhance Quality, and Boost Efficiency." Building on in-depth discussions about "Sow and Piglet Nutrition Research and Innovation," the event has expanded its focus to include cutting-edge topics in meat-type ruminant nutrition and poultry nutrition—offering comprehensive content that perfectly matches the current needs of the livestock and feed industry to foster new productivity and drive high-quality development.

This year's conference has brought together industry veterans, entrepreneurs, and tech experts in Chengdu, where they gathered on stage to exchange insights, stay closely aligned with real-world applications, and offer valuable advice and solutions. On the morning of October 23, Dr. Lü Jirong, Deputy General Manager of Chengdu Dadi Hank Biotechnology Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote presentation titled "Research and Application of Animal Feed Intake Regulation," sharing her expertise on topics such as feed intake regulation mechanisms and food signaling, the underlying principles and applications of taste and smell senses, the appetite-stimulating effects of meaty umami flavors, and the role of biotechnology in enhancing feed palatability.
DDC’s corporate mission is "to provide animals with delicious and healthy products, while creating value for society." We remain committed to a development path driven by technology, guided by the philosophy of "innovation as the key to delivering value—both to the industry and our customers." Steadfastly focused on meticulous research and expertise in the field of animal feed regulation, DDC leverages cutting-edge productivity to fuel the industry’s high-quality growth.
