General Manager Li Xiaobing Returns to His Alma Mater, Sichuan Agricultural University, to Share Entrepreneurial Insights and Life Lessons

To thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, as well as the provincial Party committee and provincial government on promoting employment and entrepreneurship among college graduates, and further encourage these graduates to stay and thrive in Chengdu, a launch ceremony titled "Stay in Chengdu, Build Dreams for the Future," along with a special recruitment event tailored for Sichuan Agricultural University, was grandly held on May 30 at the Chengdu campus of Sichuan Agricultural University. The event was jointly organized by five entities including the Office of the Chengdu Municipal Talent Work Leading Group and the Chengdu Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and undertaken by seven organizations such as the Chengdu Employment Service Administration, the Chengdu Social Insurance Business Administration, and the Chengdu Talent Service Center. Attendees included relevant leaders from Chengdu and Wenjiang District, as well as President Wu De from Sichuan Agricultural University.

Invited by the event, Ms. Li Xiaobing, a renowned alumnus of Sichuan Agricultural University and General Manager of Chengdu Dadi Hank Biotechnology Co., Ltd., served as the keynote speaker. Under the theme "Stay in Chengdu, Achieve Your Dreams," she shared her wealth of entrepreneurial experience and profound life insights. Starting with the three fundamental philosophical questions— "Who am I? Where do I come from? Where am I going?"—Ms. Li eloquently and passionately recounted her personal journey and inspiring story of entrepreneurship.

General Manager Li Xiaobing studied Animal Husbandry at the Department of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Sichuan Agricultural University, from 1979 to 1983. After graduation, she dedicated herself to the feed industry, working successively at the Sichuan Provincial Grain Bureau Feed Company and the Feed Industry Office under the Sichuan Provincial Planning Commission. In 1992, inspired by Deng Xiaoping's Southern Tour speech, she and her husband, Dr. Yu Lin, jointly founded "Chengdu Chenghua District Dadi Xiang Feed Store." Through relentless efforts, the business gradually grew into "Chengdu Dadi Feed Co., Ltd." By 2004, the company had further expanded, establishing Chengdu Dadi Hank Bio-Technology Co., Ltd. and moving into the Cross-Strait Science and Technology Industrial Park in Wenjiang District, where it has since developed into a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, and production of animal feed intake regulation solutions.

At the sharing session, Ms. Li Xiaobing not only reflected on the challenges and uncertainties faced during the company’s early days of entrepreneurship but also provided an in-depth analysis of the firm’s strategies for navigating international competition, as well as its inspiring journey toward building a renowned national brand. She emphasized that, as leaders of the enterprise, continuous learning and innovation are essential to ensuring the company’s sustainable growth. At the same time, she expressed her encouragement and high expectations for the soon-to-be graduates, urging them to stay in Chengdu—this vibrant and promising land—and to dedicate their youth and hard work to turning their dreams into reality, ultimately forging successful careers.

General Manager Li Xiaobing’s sharing session earned widespread praise and enthusiastic applause from the attendees. Students enthusiastically remarked that, through this event, they not only gained valuable insights into entrepreneurship and business management but also felt inspired and motivated. After the session concluded, students eagerly gathered around, eager to obtain copies of Ms. Li Xiaobing’s books, "Taste Beyond Words" and "The Art of Flavor," which they hoped would serve as a spiritual nourishment to keep them moving forward with determination.

The "Stay in Chengdu, Build Dreams for the Future" themed event not only provided college graduates with a platform to directly engage with successful entrepreneurs, but also further fostered a positive atmosphere encouraging them to pursue career development in Chengdu.
