The 3rd DDC Logistics Strategy Seminar Successfully Held

On January 12, DDC's third Logistics Strategy Seminar was successfully held. This marked the company's third successful logistics strategy seminar, following those held in 2021 and 2022. The event invited the top 15 logistics partners who have collaborated with us over the long term, as well as several promising logistics companies that are eager to work with Dadi.
At the meeting, Dr. Lü Jirong, Deputy General Manager, delivered the company's welcome speech on behalf of the organization.
Dr. Lü said: "2023 marks the 31st year since our company was founded. Although it’s the first year after we reached our 'standing' milestone, the challenging global economic climate—characterized by factors such as the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate hikes—has dealt a severe blow to consumers’ purchasing power and confidence. As a result, even the livestock industry, which directly impacts people's daily lives, is facing unprecedented difficulties, with the entire year feeling like a relentless cold wave. At Da Di Hanke, like every other player in the industry, we’ve had no choice but to strive for survival amid adversity and seek growth amidst hardship. Fortunately, thanks to the care and support from industry leaders and friends, coupled with the unwavering trust and backing of our customers, and fueled by the collective efforts of everyone at Da Di Hanke—as well as the seamless cooperation of our logistics partners—we’ve managed to maintain sales levels roughly on par with 2022, while also seeing a slight improvement in cash collection. This achievement not only underscores Da Di Hanke’s steady and solid progress but also brings us one significant step closer to realizing our ambitious vision of building a century-old enterprise! Speaking of the company’s development, while many businesses across the board have resorted to layoffs or pay cuts in 2023, Da Di Hanke has taken the opposite approach. Far from reducing employee benefits, we’ve actually invested further in nurturing an innovative culture and cultivating top-tier talent. Throughout the year, we’ve welcomed over 20 young, highly skilled professionals into our team, providing them with comprehensive training and mentorship. These talented individuals will play a pivotal role in driving the company forward, contributing their expertise in areas such as technology, management, and customer service, ultimately helping us reach new heights."
Looking ahead, Dr. Lü looks forward to collaborating with our logistics partners on the Da Di Hanke platform, working together with a shared commitment to the "win-win" spirit—where success and challenges are faced as one. As customer demands for logistics services continue to grow, we encourage everyone to not only manage costs effectively but also enhance the speed and quality of our logistics operations. To achieve this, we must establish a scientific, standardized, and highly efficient operational management system. Dr. Lü emphasizes that only those logistics companies that genuinely listen to their customers' needs and proactively adapt and improve will remain competitive in the ever-evolving market.
Marketing Department Manager Wang Hong summarized and analyzed the cooperation status of logistics companies in 2023. Compared to 2022, the average logistics shipping price remained stable in 2023, while customer complaints decreased by 6.57%, and customer satisfaction saw a slight improvement. Manager Wang conducted a categorized analysis of customer complaints from 2023, identifying the markets with the highest issue frequency, pinpointing the key challenges faced by logistics partners, and outlining the guiding principles for logistics operations in 2024. She also emphasized the service standards that logistics partners must meet in 2024.
From the perspective of the supply chain, Procurement Department Manager Xie Xueying drew on his experience interacting with logistics personnel to deliver a focused presentation on "Communication and Practices in Receiving and Delivering Goods within Supply Chain Strategy." He also shared practical advice for addressing common logistics challenges in the workplace—such as vehicle hygiene, product labeling, and proper product stacking. Additionally, he highlighted instances of unprofessional and uncivilized behavior among logistics staff, urging logistics companies to strengthen vehicle management and enhance professional education and training programs for their employees and drivers.
Wang Tao, Manager of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department, explained the company's safety management requirements, reminding logistics companies about precautions for vehicle entry and exit of the factory premises with the message, "Start safely, co-create safety." He also highlighted several safety incidents that have occurred during transportation and shared valuable insights on ensuring vehicle driving safety.
Liu Jinyu, Manager of the Quality Control Department, shared insights on the ISO quality certification requirements for transportation and provided an overview of logistics evaluations. Manager Liu emphasized that products are the lifeblood of a company, and quality is its very core—ensuring that products delivered to customers meet standards is especially critical during the shipping process. He highlighted our products' unique characteristics, as well as key considerations regarding bio-safety and often-overlooked areas, offering valuable recommendations to our logistics partners. Finally, he stressed that the company’s logistics team will rigorously adhere to evaluation criteria when working with logistics providers, firmly refusing to collaborate with any companies that fail to meet these high standards.
In their remarks, the logistics partner shared their experiences and insights from collaborating with DDC, and pledged to elevate the quality of logistics services in 2024, reduce customer complaints, and deliver even more efficient, professional, and exceptional service to clients.
At the meeting, DDC recognized five outstanding logistics partners for their excellence in 2023 across areas such as service, timeliness, safety, and innovation!
Logistics is the last mile of customer service—and also a crucial link in delivering exceptional customer experiences. In 2024, DDC will uphold its logistics service philosophy of "efficient, fast, precise, and secure," strengthening strategic partnerships with logistics providers to continuously enhance the quality of our delivery services!
