Dancing Together

　　The winter of 1995 can be said to have been a major turning point in my life. After intense internal struggles, I finally mustered the courage to abandon the "iron rice bowl" of the state-owned enterprise—restless with the status quo—and walked into Dadi as an ordinary finance employee, thus embarking on my career at the company.

　　Although the emperor's initial office environment was far from ideal—on a five-mu plot of land, several manufacturing companies were renting space, each with its own distinct cultural atmosphere and unique scent—it was precisely this very diversity that deeply captivated me. The warm, considerate, hardworking, and genuinely friendly smiles of the more than 10 emperors there at the time left an indelible impression on me. Most notably, the scene of the boss sharing both joys and hardships with his employees stayed with me in a way I could never forget. And so, I decided to stay—and became one of the emperor’s team members.

　　My first task at Dadi was to clean up all the company’s financial records since its establishment. Since there hadn’t been any professional finance staff before and management had been relatively simple, it took me a full three months to sort through every account and accurately calculate the company’s financial performance. By then, we had established a comprehensive financial system and set up detailed accounting records, putting Dadi’s finances firmly on track. Meanwhile, my expertise in financial management—and my hands-on experience—continued to grow, further enhancing both my professional spirit and skills. A year later, I was promoted to Manager of the Finance Department.

　　As the company’s business volume and operational scale continue to expand, we’ve been steadily bringing in talent from various fields. Particularly in 1997, our marketing team experienced rapid growth—after all, sales are the driving force, and building a strong sales force has always been the company’s top priority. Under these circumstances, establishing an effective incentive and accountability mechanism has become an urgent task. For both the company and me, this presents a completely new challenge. In January 1998, the first-ever marketing performance evaluation plan was introduced, initially named the "Comprehensive Assessment Scheme." Since then, developing the annual marketing assessment plan has consistently remained one of my key responsibilities. On one hand, I’ve focused on how to better motivate our marketing team, striking the optimal balance between incentives and constraints while boosting overall efficiency. On the other hand, I’ve also kept the company’s broader business interests firmly in mind. Through years of careful exploration, valuable experience accumulation, and constructive feedback from employees, the company’s marketing assessment framework has continuously evolved and improved. Over the past decade, the company’s performance has shown a steady upward trajectory.

　　Starting in 2002, the company implemented a group-based development strategy. Companies such as Chengdu Intelligent Spring, Sichuan Meiyida Commerce, and Chengdu Dadi ChunTian were subsequently established one after another, enabling the company to achieve diversified growth. Two years later, I was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, taking full responsibility for the financial management of the group. Looking ahead, DaDi’s financial management journey is both challenging and long-term. We must continue to embrace cutting-edge financial management principles and innovative approaches, constantly refining our financial management system to ensure sustainable success.

　　Looking back on the 17 years spent alongside the Great Emperor, we’ve experienced countless moments of success, fulfillment, joy, and heartfelt emotion—yet we’ve also faced countless failures, setbacks, and hardships. Still, we’ve remained steadfastly by each other’s side, never abandoning one another, sharing together both the sweetness and the struggles of personal growth. We weathered challenging market periods together, while also witnessing the company’s remarkable journey of rapid expansion—from its humble beginnings as a workshop-style operation to becoming an industry leader. From dilapidated factory buildings to today’s state-of-the-art facilities, our business has even extended its reach overseas. Meanwhile, under the company’s nurturing guidance, I’ve grown from an ordinary employee into a senior executive. On life’s path, everyone can find countless reasons to interpret their experiences—but for me, gratitude fills my heart. After all, it was the Great Emperor who created the opportunities for my growth, providing me with the perfect stage to realize my full potential. Thanks to this supportive environment, I’ve continued to thrive, gaining not only strength and confidence but also the nourishment needed to keep evolving.
