However, its application as animal feed or an ingredient in feed additives has already achieved significant success. This article reviews several applications of fruit pulp in animal husbandry and, drawing on the characteristics of feed additives, explores the promising potential of fruit pulp as a key component in feed formulations.

Fruit pulp, as a feed ingredient, is primarily fed in the form of fresh fruit pulp feed, fermented fruit pulp feed, silage fruit pulp feed, and dried fruit pulp. In addition to serving as an excellent feed resource, fruit pulp can also be used to extract pectin, producing dietary fiber, jams, alcohol, citric acid, oligosaccharides, and enzyme preparations, among other valuable products.
