DDC Technology Day | The Impact of Extraction Solvents on Analytical Results of Active Ingredients in Feed Flavorings

Category:

Abstract: This study used anhydrous ethanol, n-hexane, and dichloromethane to extract the same feed flavoring agent, followed by gas chromatographic analysis. The active components were quantified using the external standard method, and the recovery rates of the three solvents were compared. The results showed that dichloromethane yielded the highest recovery rate for the main constituents in the feed flavoring agent.
